A little bit about me…

I started Tumblr because I was inspired by fitness bloggers and decided to keep a Fitness journal and keep track of my progress.
In April 2011 my boyfriend and I wanted to change into a healthy life style. In high school I was always skinny, college maintain the weight (never got the freshmen 15), then after college I started to gain some weight. We were getting a little heavy and we wanted to do something about it and turned to fitness.
We were all in, joined our local gym, and got supplements from NutriShop. We both had a good background in fitness he did martial arts and I did volleyball and surfing. But we wanted to do it right, and become more knowledgeable in training in the gym/fitness. So we bought a book The Women’s Health Big Book of Exercises. This helped us a lot and gave a good foundation to gym workouts. I wanted to learn more so I would research online on bodybuilding.com and YouTube, with the help of fitness gurus like BodyRocktv, Scott Herman fitness, Falvia and Vince Del Monte, Omarlsuf…and more!
Now it’s been a year we def do see a difference and feel so much better. We’ve been working out 4-5 times a week, BUT didn’t change our eating habits. I know nutrition is really important part of fitness, but we weren’t as serious as we are now.
We’re taking it to the next level, our next goal is to eat a clean diet, build size and gain more definition. Beginning this year in Jan 2012, we started to lift heavy. Then in June 2012, we started a clean diet to our workouts. We’re lifting heavier and adding cardio (in the beginning we would do cardio in our workouts but stopped). It has been a challenge (a good one) but we’re sticking to it, and taking it day by day.
